Your Story Counselling
Counselling for those experiencing infertility, grief and loss and pregnancy.

Everyone’s story is uniquely individual, and I’ve created a space where you can share yours. I understand first-hand how infertility can be a huge interruption to your life.

I understand the feelings and challenges that come with fertility treatments. I also recognise the pain of infertility and pregnancy loss.

But I also know that the journey doesn’t stop there. Once you fall pregnant and bring a baby into your life, the worry and anxiety often continue. I am here to support you every step of the way. I will provide a safe and caring space for you to handle both the good and bad parts of your experience.

Trying to have a baby can feel overwhelming, leaving you feeling isolated and consumed by the process. Whether you are thinking about starting a family, have been trying for years, or want to expand your family, I am here to help.

Taking the first step to seek professional help can be daunting. Based on research and experience, I can suggest support groups, resources, and tools. I will help you with kindness and empathy. Direct your questions or concerns regarding your medical treatment to your doctor or qualified health practitioner.

Remember that you are not alone in this journey. Many individuals and couples face similar challenges, and sharing your experiences can be incredibly healing. Support groups provide a safe space where you can connect with others who understand what you’re going through. These connections can help alleviate feelings of isolation and provide a sense of community.

In addition to support groups, various resources are available that can offer guidance and coping strategies. Books, podcasts, and online forums can provide valuable insights and comfort. Engaging with these materials can help you process your emotions and gain a better understanding of them. Some people can spend hours on social media and Google, scrolling through comments and information that may not benefit them in a positive way.

In family planning, it’s essential to explore all your options. If you are considering adoption, fertility treatments, or other ways to become a parent, you should do some research.
Understanding your options is important. Take time to reflect on what feels right for you. Each journey is unique, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.

If you find yourself struggling with anxiety or overwhelming emotions, don’t hesitate to reach out for professional help. Therapists and counsellors can offer tailored support and coping mechanisms to help you navigate this complex emotional landscape. They can help you create a plan for your future. This way, you will feel empowered and informed in your choices.

Remember, it’s okay to take your time. Healing and finding your path forward is a process, and it’s important to be gentle with yourself along the way. Celebrate the small victories, and allow yourself to feel whatever emotions arise. You are worthy of support, understanding, and a fulfilling future.
